Dennis has been in real estate since 1997. He has been licensed in 3 states- Arkansas, Oklahoma and Florida. Dennis took an early retirement from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (A T & T) in 1991 after 24 years of service as a Data Base Manager in Dallas, Texas. After retiring, he and his wife Heather moved to Mena, Arkansas and operated a poultry farm for 6 years before he realized he enjoyed selling farms more than operating one.
In 2000, he moved to Naples, Florida where he and his wife contracted to Sprint Telephone. After about 2 years, Dennis went back into real estate. He extended his real estate knowledge there by selling luxury homes and condos.
In 2005, he moved back to Mena, Arkansas to help his Mom after the death of his Father. He went back to work selling real estate in Arkansas with RE/MAX Mena Real Estate. In 2010, Dennis was elected President of The Mena Area Board of Realtors. When the bottom fell out of the real estate market, he took courses to help the distressed home owners. Dennis obtained the designation CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) and SFR (Short Sale/Foreclosure Resolution).
In 2012, Dennis and Heather and their 3 cats moved to Punta Gorda, Florida. Like many other Punta Gorda transplants, the beauty of the location and friendliness of the people here has captured our hearts and this will be our forever home. So, if I can help you find your forever home or just a second home, please give me a call.
